Truman began his academic journey at the University of Queensland before being selected for a scholarship at Culver-Stockton University in the U.S., where he completed his degree in Business Administration. He later returned to Australia to complete his Honours law degree at Queensland University of Technology. His early years with MMLaw, starting in 2012, sparked a lasting commitment to community-oriented legal practice, which he continues to carry into his work today.

Having refined his legal and commercial acumen in Brisbane and immersed himself in the real estate world, Truman is well-positioned to help clients navigate the increasingly complex legal and commercial landscape. Whether he’s advising on contracts, transactions, or strategic business decisions, Truman is known for delivering clear, practical advice with a personal touch.

Outside the office, Truman is a current Sunshine Coast Rugby Union Board Member and an active contributor to local sport. His previous and current community involvement includes serving as Club Captain of Buderim Wanderers Football Club, playing with Sunshine Coast Fire, Woombye Snakes, and New Farm United, and coaching with the Sunshine Coast Wanderers Women’s program and St Peters Lutheran College.

Truman’s greatest “why” is his young daughter and wife, whose love and inspiration guide the discipline, teamwork, and dedication he brings to both his legal practice and community roles. He approaches every matter with a commercial mindset and a focus on achieving results that align with his clients' goals, ensuring they feel confident, informed, and supported throughout the legal process.
