Dhanya's Story

Dhanya is a skilled succession lawyer with extensive experience advising clients across all aspects of Wills and Estates law. She has been part of the MMLaw team since 2010, and after taking a break from legal practice to raise her young family, she rejoined the firm in 2022.

Dhanya’s practice focuses exclusively on Wills, Deceased Estates, and Estate Litigation. She is experienced in family provision applications, contested estate matters, enduring powers of attorney, and estate administration. Whether she’s assisting with probate, estate planning, or complex family dynamics, Dhanya brings professionalism, warmth, and strategic insight to her work.

She works closely with her clients to draft Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney, Advance Health Directives, and other testamentary documents tailored to their individual needs and values. Her expertise also extends to guiding executors through the estate administration process; from obtaining grants of probate or letters of administration to managing assets and distributing inheritances.

Dhanya understands that estate planning often involves navigating deeply personal and sometimes emotionally complex situations. She is especially experienced in assisting clients dealing with blended families, second marriages, and competing interests among beneficiaries.
